Hey there!

I’m Jackie Konin and it’s great to meet you!

I help busy stay-at-home moms start their journey to become entrepreneurs by giving them the guidance, tools, and support to become – Mompreneurs!

I’ll help you determine your true goals and detail the steps you need to succeed.

You & Me, in a Nutshell…

As the owner of multiple businesses spanning almost two decades, I’ve been through many ups and many downs.

Along the way, I’ve learned how to overcome the challenges that effect most moms and entrepreneurs, and now find that I can help other Mompreneurs and those considering diving into the entrepreneurial journey.

If you find yourself in any of these situations, I’d love to help:

  • Do you have an awesome idea for a business but don’t know how to start?
  • Would you like to bring in extra income but don’t want to sacrifice your family life?
  • Are you struggling with guilt between your business and your family?
  • Are you feeling unfilled, craving something “more” in your life?
  • Do you struggle with the confidence to pursue your dreams or passions?
  • Are you not even sure what your dreams or passions are?

Being a Mompreneur isn’t always easy, but the best way to get through the struggles is with support from someone who has been there.

And believe me, I have been there!

The Quick Version Background

First and foremost, I am a Mom to three awesome grown children- Brooke is 25, Courtney 21 and Matthew 18-and a wife to my husband Michael. (Insert family photo from the beach).

I own and operate three businesses-a brick and mortar women’s clothing and accessories boutique located in the Philadelphia suburbs; an online skincare company; and Jackie Konin Enterprises-a business coaching and consulting company.

I have lived just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for over 30 years (yikes!) and love exploring new restaurants in the city. My oldest daughter still lives at home and seems to have caught the entrepreneurial bug from me. My middle child is a junior at Penn State University majoring in Public Relations, and my son will be attending college somewhere in the Fall of 2017.

The Juicy Details

By nature, I am a helper. From my first Psychology class in high school I knew that I wanted to be in the “helping” field. So at The George Washington University I majored in Psychology and then got a Master’s in Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania. For over 10 years I was involved in many aspects of the Social Work field including running support groups and individual counseling. I worked with a wide range of people, but primarily with women. After the birth of my second child, I decided to stay home with my children.

Not long after the birth of my third child in 1999, I grew a bit restless so I became the ultimate volunteer. Class mom, PTO president, charity board member. You name it, I did it. I had this feeling that I needed to serve others-again part of my nature of helping. I am so proud of the work that I did with various organizations and schools, and learned a great deal about leadership along the way.

Entrepreneurship was not something on my mind. Although my dad owned his own company, I never thought of it as something for me. I do, however, believe in being open to opportunities. So when an opportunity to join my friend in her accessory business came my way, I thought it through and decided to take the leap. That was about 13 years ago. Since that time I have come to love being my own boss, and have learned so many lessons that have enriched my life. I have learned resiliency (especially when needing to close a business), how to overcome road blocks, the importance of integrity, a positive mindset, and finding motivation when there doesn’t seem to be any.

Every day, through each of my businesses, I am able to fulfill my mission of helping others improve their mindset, become empowered, and feel good about who they are. I am truly grateful that I am able to do this.
